About the event

DENIM DAY is about bringing awareness to sexual violence issues, supporting survivors, and education ourselves and others. Join millions of people across the world in wearing jeans with a purpose- support Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in protest against injustice and rape culture. This event is free, but tickets and egistration are required. 

Theme: Empowerment & Solidarity 

Keynote Speakers: Sandra Moore Howard & Kenya Parks, Author

BBGDF will be collecting both new and gently used women's and children's denim of all sizes and styles. Donations will go to local shelters. Only clean, ready-to-wear items. NO dirty and/or damaged items.
