MISSION & HISTORY.

If we concentrate on being a blessing to others, encouraging others, and giving to others, there is no room for selfishness in our lives.

Eva Jones,
BBGDF Founder

Butterflies By Grace Defined By Faith (BBGDF) was established in 2010
as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to end domestic violence against the victims, their children and the families affected by providing services for individuals of any age, particularly in the low-socioeconomic classes. We believe many are capable of escaping the cycle of domestic violence and realizing their full potential in life with encouragement as well as the resources needed to heal and start a new life. It is our goal to create an environment where domestic violence, teen dating violence and sexual assault will not be overlooked or tolerated. This will be accomplished by having the uncomfortable conversations and dialogues on the dynamics of domestic and teen violence. We will also provide workshops on parent and teen relationship improvement along with platform opportunities for the survivors who wish to share their stories and resources. As a result, many who have been impacted will be educated and inspired to spread their wings and soar.

We are committed to ending domestic violence, teen dating violence, stalking and human trafficking by partnering with other organizations to prevent, intervene, and advocate services by meeting the needs of survivors, their families, and the community. BBGDF services include motivation and personal empowerment, image development, basic needs for those facing domestic violence issues, and youth and community prevention educational programs and cultivating healthy relationships between men and teen boys. As a non-profit organization, Butterflies By Grace Defined By Faith relies on the support of individuals, churches, businesses, and other organizations to finance our mission through donations.

Our mission is to bring awareness to the tragedy of domestic violence through education, elevation and economic provision. Our vision and core values are to eliminate the Cause and empower the community, as we believe that it takes teamwork to achieve success.
